A Sioux Falls police officer is uninjured after being dragged by a suspect’s vehicle with his arm trapped in the window. It started early Sunday morning, when officers were dispatched to a hotel downtown on reports of disorderly conduct and assault. The suspect had taken off in a vehicle, which officers spotted and ordered to pull over. The suspect did not pull over, but ended up getting caught in traffic. While the vehicle was stopped in traffic one of the officers walked up to the car and reached in to turn the ignition off. That’s when the driver rolled up the window, and trapped the officer’s arm, then took off and dragged the officer for a short time. Officers were able to get the vehicle stopped again and arrested the driver. The driver is under the age of 18 and faces multiple charges.
