New assistance program opens for frontline workers

(Fargo, ND) — A new assistance program is available for frontline workers during the COVID-19 pandemic in North Dakota. The Medical Expense Assistance Program will give eligible applicants up to five-thousand dollars for COVID-19 related expenses. To qualify applicants must have been infected with the illness and did not apply for workers compensation. More information is available on the state’s website.
