Pilot Error likely in air ambulance crash

(Bismarck, ND) — Federal investigators say pilot error is the likely cause of a deadly 2018 Bismarck air ambulance crash. The National Transportation Safety Board’s final report puts the cause down to the “pilot’s failure to maintain control” that led to an “in-flight breakup of the airplane.” Pilot Todd Lasky, paramedic Chris Iverson, and nurse Bonnie Cook died in the crash that happened less than a minute after takeoff.
