Lawmaker, legislative staffers test positive for COVID-19

(Bismarck, ND) — A North Dakota lawmaker and three legislative staff are positive for COVID-19 after an organizational session. Senator Ray Holmberg from Grand Forks says the session was the only time he could have gotten the virus. He was tested last Monday and received his positive result Tuesday. The 76-year-old says he’s very tired and is recovering at home. He is being replaced as one of three North Dakota presidential electors for Trump, who are meeting Monday.
