(Pierre, SD) — Cases of COVID-19 among state lawmakers are being linked to Governor Kristi Noem’s budget address last week in Pierre. Now, at least two state senators and one state representative have been diagnosed with coronavirus. All three say that they were wearing masks then and frequently washed their hands and regularly sanitized during their trip to Pierre. Contact tracing and more testing among attendees is now underway to determine the extent of the spread.
