NDFU President Gets Eighth Term

(Jamestown, ND) — North Dakota Farmers Union President Mark Watne is entering his eighth term in the office after re-election. It was made official last week at the Farmers Union’s 94th annual state convention. The event was held virtually on Friday due to COVID-19 concerns. Some of the main issues Watne says he’ll be focusing on in the coming year include use of legacy funds, the potential enhancement of the state’s beef processing facilities, trade issues, and antitrust laws.
