Ravnsborg Feels Did Not Commit Crime In Auto Accident

(Pierre, SD) — For the first time since hitting and killing a pedestrian alongside U.S. 14, state Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg is speaking out about the accident. Ravnsborg says he does not feel that he’s committed any crime and that he is cooperating with investigators. He has been under investigation since the accident three months ago when he hit Joe Boever while driving his Ford Taurus back to his Pierre home from a Republican Party event in Redfield. Immediately after the accident, Ravnsborg called 911 saying he hit something, but didn’t know what, and it wasn’t until the next day that Boever’s body was found along the highway.
