SD Frontline Healthcare Workers Getting COVID Vaccine

Sioux Falls, SD) — The first round of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine is already being distributed in South Dakota. As of Monday morning, 78-hundred doses of the vaccine had been delivered to the state. The first doses have been distributed to frontline healthcare workers at Avera Health’s emergency department, ICU, and COVID units. Sanford will begin distributing its doses this morning with the Moderna vaccine expected to be delivered and distributed by next week.
