(Pierre, SD) — South Dakota is seeing a downward trend in new COVID-19 cases. Health officials announced 345 new cases of the virus yesterday along with two new deaths. The state has over eleven-and-a-half-thousand active cases, down by over eleven-hundred from the day before. Hospitalizations went up slightly to 425. More than 91-thousand South Dakotans have tested positive for the virus and 12-hundred-61 have died since the pandemic began.
