(Grand Forks, ND) — The Grand Forks School Board is considering recommendations by its Facilities Task Force. The board held a special meeting yesterday to hear the reasons behind some of the recommendations. The task force recommends consolidating a middle school with several elementary schools to create a K through Eighth building on the north side. Members also recommended consolidating several other elementary schools on the south side. The proposed consolidations would save one-and-three-quarter-million dollars annually.
