(Undated) — Eleven people are injured after separate pileups in South Dakota. The two pileups were reported about an hour apart as visibility diminished and wind gusts picked up to 60 miles per hour. The first pileup happened yesterday morning and involved 15 vehicles in the northbound lanes of I-29 near the Dell Rapids exit during a whiteout. Six people in two separate vehicles were injured and taken to the hospital for treatment. The second crash was reported about an hour later in the westbound lanes of I-90 near Hartford. A number of semis were involved, and about 25 vehicles were damaged. Five people were injured and taken to the hospital for treatment. The injuries were serious but non-life-threatening.
