Lawmakers Have COVID-19

(Pierre, SD) — Nearly three dozen South Dakota lawmakers have had COVID-19, but health officials say the number could be much larger. CDC estimates released last week say only one out of seven people who have had the virus but haven shown symptoms have gotten tested to confirm it. Estimates say one out of six people who have symptoms get tested. Officials say the entire testing system only a fraction of those with the virus ever seek out testing
