Minot State University Plans Tuition Rate Changes

(Minot, ND) — Minot State University officials are planning to make changes to next year’s tuition rates as the pandemic forced many students to attend online classes this school year. Prior to the pandemic, the cost of credits differed for in-person learning and online learning. Officials say they reconstructed the whole financial systems so basically a credit is a credit and everybody pays the same fees regardless of what type of student they are. The university will look at factors such as state and national legislation, state guidelines and student population when they make a decision on next year’s tuition rate..
