(Pierre, SD) — State Health Officials are reporting that South Dakota has now passed 100-thousand total coronavirus cases since the start of the pandemic. Officials said on Sunday that there were over 700 new cases of COVID-19 in South Dakota, which includes numbers from Saturday and last Friday. The total number of active COVID-19 cases across the state stands at five-thousand-988. The report also showed 12 new deaths from complications associated with the virus, with hospitalizations at 262 patients.
