SD Republican Lawmakers Want Elex Audit

(Pierre, SD) — South Dakota’s Republican lawmakers are calling for an audit of the 2020 U.S Presidential Election. In a letter sent yesterday by 27 state legislators, South Dakota Senators John Thune and Mike Rounds and Representative Dusty Johnson are asked to challenge the Electoral College results when Congress meets to certify the election tomorrow. Several Republican senate and house members have called for a commission to review the election despite no evidence of widespread vote fraud. Neither Representative Johnson or Senators Thune and Rounds have publicly commented on if they plan to challenge the Electoral College on Wednesday.
