(Bismarck, ND) — A new toll-free child abuse and neglect reporting line is being launched by the North Dakota Department of Human Services. Officials say it was launched for better and faster responses when a child is in danger, and local responses for crisis or intervention will still be available for all children. Anyone who suspects a child is being abused or neglected can call 833-958-3500 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Central Time. If a child is in immediate danger, people are urged to call 9-1-1.
