SD Reports More Than 400 New COVID Cases In 24 Hour Period

Pierre, SD) – State health officials are reporting over 400 new cases of COVID-19 across South Dakota on Tuesday. The updated data showed 434 confirmed coronavirus cases, which is around 300 more than the numbers reported on Monday. For the second day in a row, there were no new deaths from the virus listed in the report and two more hospitalizations. Doctors say around 42 percent of the state’s hospital beds are available, and only about 37 percent of ICU beds are unoccupied.
