(Pierre, SD) — The South Dakota Supreme Court is welcoming new Justice Scott Myren following his swearing-in on Tuesday. Myren took the oath of office to become an official member of the state’s highest court after being nominated by Governor Kristi Noem last October. Myren previously served as a Fifth Circuit Judge for six-years. A native of Mobridge, Myren received a B.A. from the University of South Dakota and a law degree from Rutgers before practicing law in Colorado and rising to the bench in South Dakota.
