SD Reports More COVID Deaths

(Pierre, SD) – After two days with no reported deaths, state health officials say six more South Dakotans have died from complications associated with COVID-19. Wednesday’s updated data showed 607 confirmed coronavirus cases, which is around 200 more than the numbers reported on Tuesday. The number of COVID-19 patients being treated for the virus fell by six for a new total of 270 people in hospitals across the state. Officials say just under 30-thousand people have now received a COVID-19 vaccine in South Dakota with around 25-hundred being administered this week.
