SD Delegation Talks About Capitol Takeover

(Rapid City, SD) — The South Dakota Congressional delegation is speaking about the chaos that happened when Trump supporters overran Capitol Police and stormed the U.S. Capitol, holding a siege. Republican Congressmen Dusty Johnson says he was barricaded in a secure location as protesters overtook the Capitol. Senator Mike Rounds released a statement calling the attack “unacceptable.” and Senator John Thune said there must be a full investigation and those involved in the siege should be charged “to the full extent of the law” before calling for a peaceful transfer of power.
