(Pierre, SD) — South Dakota’s COVID-19 vaccination process is ahead of schedule. State health officials say people over 80 and those with two or more underlying conditions may receive the vaccine as early as next week. Officials say the state is starting with Phase One D of the administration process. The planned vaccinations will be extended to those 65-years old and older as vaccines become available.
