More ND Guard Personnel Head To DC

(Undated) — The North Dakota National Guard is sending another 130 guardsmen to the nation’s capital to augment security efforts ahead of next week’s inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden. According to a Guard spokesperson, the departing soldiers from the 816th Military Police Company headquartered near Dickinson will augment 20 guardsmen who were scheduled for inauguration duty several months ago. Biden is set to be inaugurated as the nation’s 46th president on Wednesday.
