Dog Bites SF Teen, Police Seek Dog

Sioux Falls, South Dakota: Sioux Falls Police are looking for a chihuahua that bit a girl downtown. On Thursday, January 28th, Animal Control responded to the scene of a dog bite that occurred downtown. A teenage girl was on the 100 block of South Philips Avenue around 2 pm when she noticed a small black Chihuahua running loose in traffic. The girl went to catch the dog and it turned around and bit her.

The dog was described as a black puppy-sized Chihuahua with short hair and no collar. The dog ran off after the bite in an unknown direction.

Animal Control needs to identify the dog in this incident to verify its vaccinations. If you have any information on this dog, please call Animal Control at 367-7000.
