Chance Of Spring Flooding In ND Remains Low

(Undated) — Federal forecasters say the chance of spring flooding in North Dakota is low. According to the National Weather Service, the forecast comes amid dry conditions that have persisted in the state since last fall. The overall flood risk within western and central North Dakota reportedly will be well below normal through the end of April, this as the most current U.S. Drought Monitor Map shows more than half of the state is in severe drought.
