Bill Would Give Sexual Abuse Survivors More Time To Sue

(Fargo, ND) — The North Dakota House is considering legislation giving child abuse survivors longer time to take legal action. The bill would give a two-year window to suspend the statute of limitations for reporting the abuse for two-years. If passed, people could file claims for two-years, starting August 1st, no matter how long ago the abuse occurred. The bill is bipartisan.
