Huff Hills Making Snow In Advance Of Polar Vortex

(Bismarck, ND) — A North Dakota ski area is making snow ahead of a bitterly cold weekend. Huff Hills manager Andrew Beck says a cold snap is what’s needed to make the stuff, and it was too warm at the start of the season for that. It won’t be open to skiers this weekend due to the dangerous low temperatures in the forecast. Next weekend, however, Beck says it will be perfect weather to hit the slopes.
