(Bismarck, ND) — A new bill would allow North Dakota bars, restaurants, and liquor stores to sell alcohol early on Sunday mornings. North Dakota senators passed a bill Friday by a narrow margin that would allow the practice. The revived bill had failed just the day before. It would move the start of Sunday sales from 11 a.m. to 8 a.m. Backers say earlier sales would benefit businesses, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
