The rate of COVID-19 cases in North Dakota is going down. North Dakota’s State Health Department says there were 118 new cases of the virus in the past day in the state, and 39 people are hospitalized. Five patients are in ICU beds. Cass County continues to report the highest number of new cases — at 24, followed by 23 new cases in Burleigh County.
There was one death from COVID-related causes in the past 24 hours, a woman in her 40’s from Williams County.
