House Committee Gets Sports Betting Bill

(Bismarck, ND) — A heavily amended sports betting bill is under consideration by the state House Judiciary Committee. The bill was introduced last week and comes with a resolution that would let voters decide if sports betting should be legalized in North Dakota. The measure would put the issue on the November 2022 ballot. If approved by voters, North Dakota would join 25 other states and the District of Columbia in having legal, regulated sports betting.
