Lawmakers Move To Lift Mask Mandate

(Bismarck, ND) — Lawmakers are moving to lift the state’s self-imposed mask mandate at the North Dakota statehouse.  According to state officials, if the measure is passed by both state houses, lawmakers and associated staffers would no longer be required to wear face masks in the chambers, committee rooms and hallways. So far, 1,448 people in the state have died due to the virus. The easing of the mask mandate reportedly does not apply to visitors and guests, who would still be required to wear mask while at the state house.
