House Opens Door To Possible Impeachment Of Ravnsborg

(Pierre, SD) — The South Dakota House is opening the door to possible impeachment proceedings against Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg. A bill passed yesterday will let lawmakers decide whether impeachment is necessary after the legal case against Ravnsborg is resolved. Ravnsborg is accused of being distracted while driving and hitting and killing Joseph Boever in Hyde County in September. He faces three misdemeanor charges related to the crash.
