NDHP Wants To Stop Giving Envelopes With Tickets

(Bismarck, ND) — The North Dakota Highway Patrol wants to stop giving pre-addressed envelopes with traffic tickets. The patrol says the practice wastes money and creates an unneeded hassle for Troopers. State troopers issued about 70-thousand traffic tickets a year. The state Senate passed a bill removing the envelope requirement, and the House will consider the matter this week.
