Owner Of Dead Cattle Floating In Missouri River Identified

(Hensler, ND) — The owner of over two-dozen cattle found floating in the Missouri River is being identified. The North Dakota Stockmen’s Association announced yesterday that the cattle belonged to Hensler-area rancher Clark Price. The NDSA says the cattle walked onto the river ice and fell through last week. They were first seen in the river last Wednesday. Local law enforcement, the Stockmen’s Association, and state departments of Emergency Services, Environmental Quality and Agriculture are responding to the situation.
