SD COVID-19 Vaccine Access Expanded

(Pierre, SD) — Access to the COVID-19 vaccine in South Dakota is being expanded. The Department of Health announced yesterday that all people in priority group D are eligible to receive the vaccine. The group includes teachers, childcare workers, college staff, college students living in residence halls and funeral workers. Groups already eligible to receive the vaccine include healthcare workers long-term care residents, EMS workers, law enforcement, people over age 65, high risk patients and those with underlying medical conditions.
