Medical Marijuana To Move Ahead In SD

(Pierre, SD) — An effort by Governor Kristi Noem and some members of the South Dakota legislature to stall the legalization of medical marijuana has failed. The state is set to legalize medical marijuana on July 1st after voters approved a ballot measure okaying the practice in November. A House bill would have delayed the implementation of the ballot measure, but it failed Thursday.
