ND Lawmakers Pondering Repealing ERA Ratification

(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota lawmakers are working to repeal the state’s ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. The state originally ratified the ERA by a narrow vote in February 1975. The last time the state tried to rescind the ratification was two years ago when the Senate narrowly rejected the resolution.
