Active COVID Cases On Increase

(Bismarck, SD) — South Dakota health officials say active cases of COVID-19 have increased by 276, bringing the total since the pandemic began to 116-thousand-370. Vaccinations of South Dakotans have also risen. Officials say 223-thousand-684 residents — or 38-percent of the population aged 16 and older — have received at least one shot of the vaccine. One death from the coronavirus was reported yesterday.
