High Speed Broadband Internet Funding Coming To SD

(Pierre, SD) — High-speed broadband internet will soon be on its way across South Dakota. Governor Kristi Noem yesterday signed a bill authorizing 75-million dollars to be spent building out broadband internet for thousands of homes and businesses. The 75-milion is being combined with 25-million dollars from the COVID-19 federal stimulus package to match investments by telecommunications companies and connect all homes and businesses in the state to the internet.
