Petition To Remove Most Of Butte County Commission Over Medical Marijuana Rules Fails

(Belle Fourche, SD) — A petition to remove four out of five Butte County Commissioners has failed following the review of the complaint. Issues were misunderstandings or misinterpretations of the county’s ordinances surrounding medical marijuana. The Butte County state’s attorney completed that review. It was determined all ten of the allegations made by the group ‘Concerned Citizens of Butte County’ were either false, without merit, or didn’t rise to the level of removal.
