Active COVID-19 Cases In SD Rise After Decline

(Pierre, SD) — Over 160 new COVID-19 cases are being reported in South Dakota. Health officials announced the new cases of the virus yesterday, along with two additional deaths. Active cases rose to over 24-hundred after a three-day decline. Nearly 100 people are hospitalized for COVID-19-related illnesses. Over 117-thousand South Dakotans have tested positive for the virus and more than 19-hundred have died since the pandemic began.
