New Way For Parents To Access Mental Health Help For Kids

(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota is rolling out a new way for parents to access mental health care for kids. The Pediatric Mental Health Care Access Program allows doctors to call a consulting line to figure out how to treat children without waiting on a referral. Doctors say this could help families, because it cuts down on appointment wait-times and travel. The program will also host mental health groups and more.
