Recreational Pot To Get SUPCO Hearing

(Pierre, SD) — The South Dakota Supreme Court is set to hear arguments on a voter-approved constitutional amendment legalizing recreational marijuana. The ballot initiative was passed this spring and has been met with opposition by the governor and many lawmakers. Justices will hear arguments April 28th at the state Capitol. A lower court ruling previously struck down the amendment, and South Dakotans for Better Marijuana Laws has appealed.
