Bill Would Separate Higher Ed Funding Over Abortion Education

(Bismarck, ND). — North Dakota is separating its higher education funding over abortion education. A Senate bill would deny nearly three-million dollars in funding to universities that use courses or materials sponsored by abortion providers. Educators who partner with abortion providers for materials could also face up to 30 days in jail or a 15-hundred-dollar fine. Some students say the bill doesn’t just target sex ed courses, but also could affect tuition costs, professorships, programs, and scholarships.
