(St. Cloud, MN) — A Sioux Falls youth wrestling tournament is being linked to a COVID-19 outbreak in Minnesota. The Northland Youth Wrestling Association 2021 State Wrestling Tournament took place from March 31st through April 3rd. Minnesota Department of Health officials said Monday that 52 teams from the state participated in the tournament. Nine counties have reported a total of 16 virus cases linked to the event. Officials say anyone who went to the tournament should get tested for COVID-19 right away.
