House Passes Bill Banning Transgender Athletes From Sports

(Bismarck, ND) — The North Dakota House is advancing a modified version of a bill that would ban transgender athletes from sports. House and Senate members compromised on the bill that supporters say would protect scholarships and opportunities for biological females. The NCAA condemned such bills this week and says it won’t host championship games in states where transgender athletes are banned.
