Noem: “Call Me When You’re An American.”

(Pierre, SD) — Governor Kristi Noem is making it clear that South Dakota doesn’t intend to cooperate with the relocation of illegal immigrants. Noem posted on social media yesterday morning that “South Dakota won’t be taking any illegal immigrants that the Biden Administration wants to relocate.” Noem followed up with the comment “Call me when you’re an American.” The post was a reaction to reports the Biden’s administration is looking to bring immigrants from the southern border to northern and coastal states. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services says 20 unaccompanied immigrant children have been brought to South Dakota between October 2020 and February 2021.
