SD Health Dept Set To Implement Medical Marijuana

(Pierre, SD) — The South Dakota Department of Health is set to implement medical marijuana. State Health Secretary Kim Malsam-Rysdon is working with vendors to put together a patient registry and to set up verification and a licensing system for distribution of the substance. Malsam-Rysdon says the system is critical for ensuring that only those with a properly issued medical marijuana card can access the drug.
