Starting SF Teachers Get Salary Bump

(Sioux Falls, SD) — The Sioux Falls School District is raising starting teacher salaries. The school board unanimously voted to increase the starting salaries for teachers and speech language pathologists. Teachers in the district will make anywhere from 41-thousand dollars and just over 51-thousand dollars a year, depending on education and experience. Speech pathologists will have their starting salaries bumped up to a little over 55-thousand dollars a year. Current teachers are also getting a small increase.
