Drought Conditions Easing Somewhat

(Bismarck, ND) — Recent rain is easing drought conditions in North Dakota. The U.S. Drought Monitor map published yesterday shows just under 18-percent of the state in exceptional drought. The amount of the state in extreme drought has dropped this week from 68-percent to 59-percent. Up to three inches of rain fell in parts of the High Plains during the week.
