Sioux Falls District To Make Mask Wearing Optional This Summer

(Sioux Falls, SD) — The Sioux Falls School District is making mask wearing optional at its summer programs. The new policy went into effect yesterday. The district will also no longer be doing contact tracing. An email sent to families says the district will continue to cooperate with contract tracing completed by the South Dakota Department of Health. The district is encouraging students and staff to continue with social distancing when possible.
